Will Coral Reefs Disappear?
This weeks article is about how corral reefs may disappear. Doctor Simon Donner a profesor in the university talked bout how corral reefs become affected by climate change or higher ocean temperature. Corrals get their energy from algae but this algae gets affected when the ocean gets warmer so the corral lacks energy and dies. Based on Dr. Simon that even if we froze emissions today the planet has enough warming to left on it so this is really dangerous for the corrals. A lot of people who live in coast areas get affected because corrals mean a lot to them. The good part is that it seems they won't become completely extinct but they will only live on certain habitats. Our opinion is that this is a really concerning event and it should be stopped. We think that we are ruining our world and we are starting with the corrals reefs. It affects us in the way that it affects peolple that live in the coast areas adn now they won't have enough food or tourism."Will Coral Reefs Disappear?"
